Evergreen’s container ship "Ever Forward" has blocked in the Chesapeake Bay near Baltimore.

It was reported that on March 13, this vessel ran aground not long after leaving the Port of Baltimore. It was originally heading to Virginia, but got stuck in Chesapeake Bay nearby.

Though the ship ran aground, it did not affect other ships entering and leaving the port of Baltimore. No fuel leaks. Evergreen is arranging for divers to conduct underwater inspections to confirm whether the hull is damaged, and is currently trying to free the cargo ship, and the rescue is continuing.

The vessel with Voyage number 1133-007W, has docked at Xiamen, Yantian, Hong Kong and Kaohsiung ports in China.
